OU College of Dentistry opens wide for renovations, thanks to $3.2M gift

The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry will start renovations to the college immediately, thanks to a $3.2 million donation from Delta Dental Foundation.

The gift comes with matching gifts from the University Hospitals Authority and Trust. The college received a total of $9.6 million, nearly half of a $20 million-capital campaign. The first phase of the renovations will start later this spring, but already, records are now being converted to digital.

The clinic’s fees are one-third of private practice, serving patients who have low or fixed income. Updating the nearly 40-year-old facility will help serve patients while improve recruiting of students and faculty members.
