Kaiser Permanente builds Lone Tree center

Kaiser Permanente Colorado, the state’s largest nonprofit health plan, has completed major construction on its new multi-specialty center in Lone Tree. The center is scheduled to open to members on Dec. 2. Over the next two months, equipment, furniture and information systems will be installed prior to staff occupying the building in October. Approximately 300 company employees will staff the center, of which 130 positions will be new hires.

As the company’s 27th medical office in the state, the center will provide members with convenient access to a variety of specialty services under one roof. The 275,000-square-foot building features six floors and has been constructed under the LEED certification system.

“Kaiser Permanente is committed to achieving the best health outcomes for our members, which depends on our ability to provide broad access to high quality, affordable care close to home,” said Donna Lynne, president of Kaiser Permanente Colorado.

The company is the state’s largest nonprofit health plan, working to improve the lives and health of state residents for more than 40 years. It provides comprehensive health care services to more than 540,000 members through 26 medical offices and a network of affiliated hospitals and physicians.
