St. Louis-based BioGenerator bags another honor
We’ve told you about St. Louis-based biotech incubator BioGenerator before. And now, thanks to its successful track record of establishing startups, there’s even more good news, as the incubator has been named by the Inter-American Competitiveness Network as one one of the best practices in the Western Hemisphere. The honor came as part of the network’s “Signs of Competitiveness in the Americas” report, which showcases thriving competitive initiatives over the last several years.
BioGenerator was one of just six U.S. programs that received recognition in the IACN report, and officials hope the honor will help draw more startup businesses to St. Louis.
The BioGenerator business incubator is a privately funded, nonprofit organization that has invested more than $5 million in 40 life science startup ventures since its inception in 2004.
